The story so far...

Designing jewellery started off as a hobby for me but after returning from traveling with so many inspired ideas and beautiful beads I thought it only fair to share my discoveries with those around me!

My designs are strongly influenced by my love for the sea, my greek heritage, and a passion for fresh and eye-catching creations. I hope that you will grow to love 'Thalassa' as much as I do!

THALASSA (n) tha-la-sa
Fr. Greek thalass(a) meaning of the sea.
Personification of the sea in classical mythology.
Primordial goddess of the sea.

Tamiha - Tanzania Millenium Hands Foundation

My recent travels took me to Tanzania in Africa where I had the amazing opportunity to work with a fantastic organisation called Tamiha.

Tamiha is a non-government and not for profit organisation that aims at reducing the worst effects of the HIV/AIDS epidemic for victims such as orphaned children and widows who - without Tamiha's help - would have no future.

I saw first hand how this organisation provides essential basic needs such as food and healthcare to those most vulnerable. They also give the children free education and teach the widows new skills and offer them basic business advice so they can then go on to support themselves and their families.
